Family Vacation: Salt Lake City

We had an amazing trip to Utah for my friends wedding. Our past family trip have been super quick and more stressful than fun! This trip I told Dustin we HAVE to stay at least a week or so! We stayed about ten days, we stayed a little while in Hurricane and then headed up to Salt Lake City the majority of the time, then back to Hurricane, then home. The reason we did it this way was to make the drive seem less hard...ten hours is kind of our max haha!

We got to stay with Dustin's Uncle John and it was so fun getting to know him more! Not to mention his house is the hub where everyone comes to stay so we got to see tons of family this trip. There was a wedding on Dustin's extended family the same weekend so lots of family were in the area. What luck?

We did lots of must sees like temple square, Hogle Zoo, This is the Place, the Avery. While I was in my sealing Dustin watched Jetson. Apparently Jetson pushed his own stroller all the way around the entire area of the Salt Lake temple without getting tired. Dustin said he was following him but he just kept going! Jetson loved having daddy around all day long, so did I haha.

So much delicious food too. Jetson loved seeing all the sights. We loved learning more about the church history, it was way too cool as it was a first time trip for me! Jetson learned lots about Jesus and points and says his name anytime he sees a statue or painting .
The best part of this trip was the family, they made us feel so welcome, fed us way too much and loved us up. Can’t wait to go back !
