Jetson is 1 years old!

I can’t believe we made it to 1 year! Phew! Jet is most certainly not much of a baby any more he is turning into a kid! We spent his first birthday driving up to Utah. We did go to Dairy Queen late that night for candles and a treat! He LOVES ice cream. We also planned a party the following week for all his friends and family to celabrate. (Which I will post about in a separate post. )

Jetson is walking and talking, it’s so crazy! He is a mini adult!! He has just two little teeth and loves to brush them every night before bed. He also loves his nighttime story. He loves toy cars and balls. He loves dogs mostly, but any animal really. He is afraid of NOTHING. He waves and blows kisses to everyone he sees (even cars in passing).

A funny thing that Jetson does is whenever he wakes up he yells from the other room "DAAADDD" and Dustin yells from our room "JETSON" and they repeat it over and over until Dustin walks down to get him!

He makes these ridiculous faces when he’s frustrated where he makes duck lips, crunches his nose and blows in and out through his nose.

He also is starting to blow on his food when he thinks it too hot. It’s so funny because he take big deep breaths and tries so hard to blow it’s so funny to see! He also tries to blow on non-food items that I tell him he can’t have because he assumes it’s hot or something haha! Hopefully that confusion will clear up as he gets older.

He loves to wear his sunglasses everywhere he goes he thinks he’s cool in them. He’ll wear them for long periods of time!

He’s also starting to prefer Spanish, he responds better to Spanish commands (rough for me considering I hardly speak it haha)

His favorite food is basically anything that involve cheese , bread or fruit but also will eat canned green beans anytime of the day.

Now that he walks hes been getting a lot more mischievous. Many times I’ll see him find something small that he shouldn’t have (like a piece of a wrapper or something. ) I’ll say "Jetson give that to mommy" then he’ll quickly throw it on the ground assuming he did it so fast that I didn’t see. Then he’ll walk over to me and physically show me his hands are empty, then he’ll walk back and sneak the things he can’t have. Very methodical plan, but I’m smarter than that Jetson come on!

This year has gone by so fast I can’t believe it, we love this little boy so much!
